I am testing out a new (easier for me) way to share my usual holiday adventures because Facebook is being a real pain and making it difficult to do stuff the same way I have for ages. Basically it is a blog using software I happen to have.
So the first Madeira post is simply a view from our small but lovely balcony and a shot of the room itself. The hotel is one of several in Funchal on offer from Jet2 Holidays (of which more in a later post). It is a short-ish (but all uphill!|) distance from the centre of town and benefits from a comparative calm. So far we like it and are adapting to the almost inevitable quirks such a family run establishment.
I will ask for feedback as to whether this ‘new way’ is as convenient for readers as it is for me to publish. Comments welcome
